When I posted pictures of my 3-D pieces on my FB page some people were asking if these 3-D elements were part of the original layout or they were added later. The blue one was laid as a one piece and the white one was assembled at half-felted stage. Then I decided to try and make a sample where all very 3-D details were laid at the same time and felted as one piece. This one below is obviously just a sample but it served the purpose! All three "bubbles" were laid at the same time as a base and felted together. The volume was created by laying the wool in a circular way.
